417 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if permission will be given for the new technical college in Dungarvan, County Waterford, to go to tender by the end of 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26485/00]
The examination of the revised stage 4-5 submission, detail design/bill of quantities, has been completed and the submission is considered satisfactory. The question of the invitation of tenders is currently being considered. A decision will be conveyed to the acting chief executive officer of County Waterford vocational education committee as soon as possible.
