Extensification premium is payable to herdowners where the stocking density on the holding is less than 1.40 livestock units per hectare.

The stocking density on the holding is 1.45 livestock units per hectare, nine Lus divided by 6.20 hectares.
As the stocking density on the holding is not less than 1.40 livestock units per hectare the person named has no entitlement to 1999 extensification premium.
