Written Answers. - Exploring Masculinities Programme.
The Exploring Masculinities programme, a manual, including teaching materials, and video, is available to schools as resource materials, and schools are free to offer all or some of the programme, subject, as with any other similar programme, to the agreement of parents and pupils concerned. Schools are also free not to use any part of the materials.
Until the review of the programme by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, which I have commissioned, is completed I am unable to provide accurate information on the extent to which schools are using the materials.
