141 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if the individual educational requirements of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, who is autistic and attends the School of the Holy Spirit, Kilkenny City, can be immediately assessed and steps taken to provide the support she requires. I understand that the case to which the Deputy refers has not previously been brought to the attention of my Department. However, I have asked my Department's inspectorate to investigate the level of support required for the pupil in question. On receipt of the inspector's report, officials of my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
