Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Gregory – the need for an educational task force in Dublin's north inner city; (2) Deputy Seán Ryan – the urgent need for additional gardaí and resources for Swords, Balbriggan and Malahide Garda stations; (3) Deputy Belton – the future of St. Joseph's secondary school, Newtownforbes, County Longford; (4) Deputy Keaveney – the need for the Department of the Marine to both fund obligatory safety courses for all entrants into the marine sector and to increase the research spend and implementation of all aspects of marine safety; (5) Deputy Deenihan – the uncertainty surrounding the future expansion of breast cancer services at Tralee General Hospital; (6) Deputy Broughan – the urgent need to end serious overcrowding on the DART network and to provide extra carriage sets before passengers are seriously injured; (7) Deputy Shortall – the urgent need for a Government initiative to resolve the ASTI dispute so that the country's secondary school students will not be further denied their right to education and (8) Deputy Stanton – to debate the need to allow secondary students back to school.

The matters raised by Deputies Belton, Broughan, Deenihan and Keaveney have been selected for discussion.
