259 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will expedite an application for nursing home subvention for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if he will grant him maximum subvention in view of his financial circumstances and the fact that he is 86 years of age and in poor health. The provision of health services in the County Kilkenny area is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
