93 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the expected increase in average farm incomes in 2000; the way in which this compares with the rate of inflation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28432/00]
There are a number of sources of data on farm incomes including Teagasc, the ESRI and the CSO. The first such estimate, from the CSO, will issue within the next few days and it would not be appropriate at this stage to speculate on them.
