Vol. 528 No. 3

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Gerry Reynolds

Ceist:

98 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Sligo has not received payment of his REP scheme at the maximum rate. [30335/00]

This case has been re-examined and the participant in question is due an additional payment which will issue in the near future.

Ivan Yates

Ceist:

99 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if ewe headage payments will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford. [30336/00]

The area aid application submitted by the person named includes parcels which are part of Cullentra commonage on which a cumulative overclaim has arisen. The commonage crosses a county boundary and the boundaries between two parcels cannot be easily mapped. The area aid unit through the local inspectorate is currently endeavouring to establish the correct boundaries and resolve this problem as expeditiously as possible. The inspection will be completed shortly and it is hoped that definitive boundaries can be established and payment can issue to the herdowner.
