121 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a 20% wage increase, agreed by the Western Health Board to a subcontractor for employees, will be passed on to the employees; and if this situation will be investigated. [30325/00]
The arrangements for payment of staff, including those referred to by the Deputy, is a matter for the relevant health board and I have no role in the process. As this is a matter for the Western Health Board, I have requested the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
