34 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the position regarding the recommendations of the Consultative Committee on the Heritage of the Burren; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29914/00]

Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera)

On 31 October 2000, I received the first report of the Consultative Committee on the Heritage of the Burren.

The report is being examined in my Department and I will respond to the committee in due course.
