Ceist:147 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is entitled to compensation for money paid to a private nursing home when her mother resided there in 1999. [6221/01]

The provision of health services in the Mayo area is a matter for the Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
