I propose, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the order of the Dáil of this day, that Government business shall not be interrupted between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and that Private Members' Business shall now be taken tomorrow for 90 minutes at the conclusion of the Order of Business. Without being presumptuous, I thank the Opposition Whips for their agreement to this change, the reason for which has to do with the legal limit specified for the passing of the Finance Bill, 2001, which is now in its 84th day and must be passed this evening.
