Mitchell asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will direct a senior consular official from his Department to meet with the mother of a minor in relation to an extraordinary set of circumstances while on holidays in Spain and the subsequent letter of request from the Spanish authorities; and if he will then ensure that the embassy in Spain gives every assistance in this case.
