Ceist:274 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Finance when the property management section of the Office of Public Works will be in a position to acquire a site for a school (details supplied) in County Cork. [7628/01]

Officials from the Office of Public Works visited a site identified by the board of management for the Star of the Sea primary school on 16 January 2001. A technical and planning report is being prepared by the regional architect for Cork. Should the site be deemed suitable, my office will proceed to enter into negotiation with the vendor at an early date.
