Ceist:

359 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the orthodontic treatment required by a person (details supplied) in County Carlow, who was assessed on 17 November 1999, has been arranged by the Midland Health Board; and if so, the date of the appointment. [7794/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Carlow is the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
