Vol. 532 No. 4

Written Answers. - General Medical Services Scheme.

Ceist:

398 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 will receive the necessary occupational therapy from Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Dublin 12; and if he will make a statement on his satisfaction or otherwise on the failure to provide a necessary service to a child who has a neurological disorder. [8223/01]

Services for eligible patients at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
