Ceist:

503 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when a previously sanctioned grant payment will be made to a group (details supplied) in County Mayo; and when a Department official will call to examine the work in order that payment can issue. [8161/01]

Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Ms Coughlan):

No request for the payment of the supplementary grant which was sanctioned by my Department in respect of the group water scheme referred to by the Deputy has so far been received from Mayo County Council. Once that application is received, the matter will be processed in the normal manner.
