Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science when an extension to a primary school (details supplied) in County Galway will be allowed to go to tender; the current state of planning for this project; the costs of the pro posal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received an application for additional accommodation from the board of management of the school in question. In order to assess the application, my Department's building unit requested that the board of management complete some further documentation. When this has been received, my Department will be able to progress the matter further.
