653 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if the architectural planning for the extension to Maynooth post-primary school, Maynooth, County Kildare is completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7943/01]
My Department's planning and building unit is currently awaiting the submission of the stage 2, outline sketch scheme documentation, from County Kildare Vocational Education Committee in respect of the proposed extension.
The following stages of architectural planning have yet to be completed: stage 3, developed sketch scheme; stage 4, detailed design; stage 5, bill of quantities and stage 6, tender action and report.
654 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will authorise the invitation of tenders for the required extension to Scoil Dara post-primary school, Kilcock, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7944/01]
The stage 4/5, detailed design and bill of quantities submission, in respect of the proposed building works at Scoil Dara, Kilcock, County Kildare is currently being examined in the building unit of my Department. Upon completion of this examination and providing that the documentation is satisfactory, the question of authorising the invitation of tenders will be considered.
