I have no function in this area. This is a matter for the Director of Telecommunications Regulation, ODTR. The Deputy may be interested in the Irish communications market quarterly review which is available on the ODTR website – http://www.odtr.ie (document no 01/14). The review, published by the ODTR, includes the results of a survey conducted to identify usage of telecommunication suppliers in the residential market including fixed lines and mobiles. The survey also examined Internet usage and general attitudes to telecommunications.
