Ceist:

129 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the South Eastern Health Board has completed its reports on the requirement of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if the South Eastern Health Board has determined if this person can be cared for at home; and the steps being taken to initiate this process. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The provision of services for people living in the Carlow area is, in the first instance, the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the board to look into the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him in this regard.
