Ceist:96 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will clarify the position regarding payments due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork under the farm retirement scheme. [11109/01]
Written Answers - Grant Payments.
The scheme of early retirement from farming provides for the payment of pension for a period of up to ten years or until the participant's 70th birthday. The person named reached his 70th birthday on 16 January 2001 and his pension was terminated with effect from that date.
