Ceist:207 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position regarding the funding of a project in Kildare (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12507/01]
Written Answers - Departmental Funding.
My Department received an application for funding from the project referred to by the Deputy to purchase a site from Kildare County Council and to build a purpose built premises on the site to accommodate the project on a permanent basis.
This application has been examined by my Department in consultation with the Department of Finance. Funding for the project has been approved in principle and the necessary formal procedures are in progress at present.
