145 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the position in regard to the current investigation in the matter of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; when this matter will be concluded; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14413/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that it is not appropriate to comment in detail on individual cases such as this. I have asked the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
