Vol. 536 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Jimmy Deenihan

Ceist:

150 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be called to Cork University Hospital for an angiogram; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14418/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of admissions to hospitals is a matter for the relevant hospital concerned based on clinical priority.

I have asked the chief executive officer at the Southern Health Board, who has responsibility for the provision of services in the case to which the Deputy refers, to look into the matter and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
