Ceist:234 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will receive a cattle headage payment for 2000. [16895/01]

As stated in my reply to parliamentary Question No. 123 of 6 March 2001, no application was received from the person named under the 2000 cattle headage or suckler cow premium schemes.
A certificate of posting was submitted on 31 January 2001 by the person named showing that his application was posted on time. He was issued with an application form on 5 February 2001 for completion and return to his district livestock office. This form was not returned and another form was issued to him on 29 May 2001. To date no form has been received by my Department. His application for grants cannot be processed until the completed application form has been returned.
