382 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received a request from the Sligo county manager to approve a contract for the Sligo Main Drainage - Contract No. 2 Advanced Civil Works; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the tender recommended by the corporation is not the lowest tender received; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Sligo County Council's tender report for this scheme, which does not propose acceptance of the lowest tender submitted, is being examined in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
