I am informed by the Courts Service that statistics are not compiled in such a manner as to provide the information sought by the Deputy.
The Courts Service has embarked on an ambitious information technology programme which will, going forward, greatly improve the level and quality of statistics which can be produced relating to sentencing and the activities of the courts generally.
