I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that after the taxpayer ceased employment on 5 April 2001, a review of his income tax liability for the 2000-01 tax year was carried out on the basis of the P45 received from the taxpayer's former employer. The review established that the taxpayer is not entitled to a tax rebate.
