189 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the total amount paid to consultancy or public relations firms in the past 12 months in respect of the promotion of the work of the Minister or his Office; the number of persons engaged in public relations or consultancy work on a full-time basis and on a part-time basis in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not incurred expenditure in the past 12 months on consultancy or public relations firms, on the promotion of the position of office holder or my office. Similarly, I am advised that no such expenditure has arisen for the Ministers of State at my Department on the promotion of their positions as office holders or their offices. There are no persons engaged in such public relations or promotional consultancy work in my Department.
