223 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if, further to his previous commitment to Dáil Éireann, he is in a position to publish the consultant's review of the performance of a company (details supplied) to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is intended to publish the consultancy report in question this month and copies will be placed in the Oireachtas Library. On foot of this and another related consultancy report, my Department will liaise closely with the company concerned and other relevant bodies with regard to the implementation of appropriate measures to support improved recovery of packaging waste and the achievement of Ireland's recycling targets under Council Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste.
