Ceist:341 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the timescale for the implementation of the reforms of his Department as recently announced by him. [20662/01]
Written Answers. - Departmental Reforms.
Implementation of the reform measures approved by the Government will be overseen by a group representative of my Department and the Department of Finance and will be the subject of full and detailed consultation with the unions representing staff interests.
Given the scale and significance of these reforms, it is important that they proceed in a measured and thorough manner. At this point it is not possible to be definitive about the precise timescale required to bring these matters to a conclusion.
