33 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the main findings of the report received from the Office of Public Works, Dublin Corporation and the National Theatre Company regarding the acquisition of site space adjacent to the existing Abbey Theatre site with a view to developing a new landmark theatre at this location; when she expects to conclude her consideration of the report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Office of Public Works report in question addressed options and issues arising in the context of the need to improve the accommodation and facilities available to the Abbey Theatre. The report is currently being examined in my Department and will inform my consideration of the options available. I will bring proposals to Government in due course.
