339 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will allocate an additional milk quota to a person (details supplied) in County Cork under the temporary leasing or restructuring scheme. [22201/01]
The milk quota restructuring scheme and the temporary leasing scheme are operated by registered milk purchasers. The details of the restructuring scheme and the first phase of the temporary leasing scheme for the milk quota year 2001-02 were established by the Department and were published in notice no. 94/9 and 94/10 respectively.
The person named was allocated 5,810 litres under the restructuring scheme and 7,152 litres under the temporary leasing scheme. Details of the second phase of the temporary leasing scheme will be published shortly and the person named should contact his milk purchaser for an application if he wishes to participate in the scheme.
