361 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance the position of the discussions between the Office of Public Works and Drogheda Corporation for the purchase of a site for the provision of a new District and Circuit Court house and facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20902/01]
I understand that the Courts Ser vice, following the receipt of advice from the Commissioners of Public Works valuer, reached agreement with Drogheda Corporation to purchase a site from them. This site is required to provide extra space to facilitate the provision of a new courthouse. The timing of the commencement of the works is a matter for the courts service.
