415 Mr. T. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason an increase in salary approved two to three months ago for child care workers with a diploma in child care has not issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20966/01]
Officials of my Department have contacted the relevant agency in this case and were informed that payment is in the process of being organised for November. My officials were also informed that the agency had meetings with the child care workers involved in order to keep them informed of the position in respect of the implementation of the increase.
