481 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Health and Children the moves which are being taken to ensure co-operation between hospitals in a region in relation to registration and medical records; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21544/01]
I understand that the Deputy's question relates to registration and medical records practices in the Northern Area Health Board. Accordingly, as medical services for patients in north Dublin hospitals are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority, my Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the issue and to reply to the Deputy directly.
