493 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people waiting for physiotherapy services in each county in the Western Health Board area; the average length of time they are waiting; and the way in which this compares to the waiting time of private patients. [21662/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Data on physiotherapy services is not routinely collected by my Department. The provision of physiotherapy services, in this instance, is a matter for the Western Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
