Ceist:

495 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the delays in the accident and emergency unit in Waterford; the reasons for these delays; if he will investigate the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny was left waiting for a considerable length of time before receiving attention; and the steps he will take to rectify this situation. The provision of services in this instance is the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
