541 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will expedite a medical assessment for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; the reason lists for this treatment are so long; and the initiatives he will take to reduce them. [21985/01]
The provision of hospital services in Kilkenny is the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive at the board to look into this matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
