838 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when Deputy Ring will receive a reply to a letter sent to the Department's offices at Na Forbacha, Gaillimh on 7 September 2001 on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [21748/01]
The letter referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department on 11 September 2001. I understand that a reply issued to him on 28 September to the effect that following a thorough search there was no record of an application for assistance under the Housing Acts (Gaeltacht) from the person named.
