843 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when an application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo for grant aid will be processed, and if the processing of this application will be expedited. [22156/01]
The application was received by my Department on 21 June 2001 under scéim na mbóithre áise. I am making arrangements for the road referred to by the Deputy to be examined by an official of my Department as a matter of urgency. If the application fulfils the criteria laid down under the scheme, it will be considered when funding becomes available.
