953 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he will implement Section II of the Children Act, 1997; the reason for the delay in making the appropriate commencement orders; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22381/01]

I refer the Deputy to the replies I gave to Questions Nos. 25 and 101 on 1 March 2001 and to the Deputy's Question No. 1066 on 30 January 2001. The position outlined in those replies remains the same.
