Architectural planning for the provision of additional accommodation at Clonmellon national school is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be informed of developments.

My Department has received an application for grant aid towards the cost of an extension to Sonna national school, Mullingar. It is not possible to say when the matter can be progressed further.

A stage 4/5, detail design-contract documents, of my Department's design team procedures was submitted to the building unit of my Department in relation to the provision of additional facilities at St. Mary's CBS, secondary school, Mullingar, County Westmeath. This submission is now being assessed within the building unit which will be in direct contact with the school in due course.
