1159 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an extension at Connons national school, Clones, County Monaghan; if funds will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22401/01]
My Department has received an application for grant-aid towards the cost of a building project at Connons national school, Clones, County Monaghan. In view of the large volume of projects currently being dealt with, it is not possible to say at this time when the matter can be progressed further.
1160 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding funding for the construction of a new school for Scoil Rois, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22402/01]
Tenders have been invited for the work at the school referred to by the Deputy. When these have been assessed my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
