The Ardara sewerage scheme has been approved for funding under the rural towns and villages initiative. Contract documents submitted by Donegal County Council are currently under examination in my Department.

The Burtonport sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme, 2000-02, as a scheme to commence construction this year. The submission of a preliminary report by Donegal County Council is awaited by my Department.
