Ceist:

231 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give details of the staff shortages in all Dublin hospitals by category; and the number of empty beds in Dublin hospitals for each month from June 2000 to the end of May 2001. [25570/01]

The information requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department. I have therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to provide me with the information requested by the Deputy which I will provide to him as soon as possible.
