The provision of health services in Dublin is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine this case to see what assistance can be made available by the authority and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency. However, the carer's allowance is payable by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs. The Deputy may wish to raise this case with my colleague, the Minister for Social, Community and Family Afffairs.
