229 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 1168 of 3 October 2001, he will outline the arrangements made for a group of special needs pupils to travel to their school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25832/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned the provision of a taxi service for the pupils in question. The parents of the pupils concerned have been notified of this development.
