Written Answers. - National Health Strategy.
As the Deputy will be aware, a participative approach has been adopted to the development of the health strategy. I previously outlined to the House that there has been an extensive consultation process including a number of meetings of a national consultative forum.
My Department has been working intensively on the preparation of the new health strategy. Detailed drafting is being finalised at present and the document will be submitted to Government very shortly for approval before publication.
I anticipate, taking account of the printing process, that the Government will be in a position to launch the new health strategy in a matter of weeks.
